Install and first run

Install

1. Get the disk image from the download page and open it.
2. Drag Operatour to your Applications folder.
3. Double-click it. Since 0.2.6 the build is signed and notarised by Apple, so macOS opens it like any other application; the first run asks for the microphone, which is how it hears the room.

What you need

• A Mac on Apple silicon.
• Something making sound: Operatour listens to an input device. The built-in microphone counts.
• A second screen, if the picture should go somewhere. Operatour puts it there by itself.

What you are looking at

The stack is empty and the show is Untitled. Left, the picture, exactly what a projector would get. Right, the layer stack, the way in under it (+ add layer holds the door to the library), and the controls of the selected layer.
