What commercial means
If the room is an organisation, or the wall is part of something people pay to see or a client pays for, it is commercial. A student's degree show, a home, a rehearsal, an artist's own studio: free. A gallery, a museum, a bar, a festival, an agency's installation for a brand: bought once.
The licence is honoured, not enforced. Nothing checks it over the network, and nothing about it can darken a wall. The cap refuses additions and never cuts what a room already has, so nothing running is ever darkened either.
In the beta
When 1.0 lands, a key from your email lifts the cap. Keys are checked on your Mac and never over the network; a show is never interrupted for one. The roadmap says when 1.0 comes.
