Sialk Stage is the simple live-visuals application. Pick a visual, it hears the room, and it runs on your stage tonight: layers you mix live, moved by the music, on a screen of its own.
Who it is for
Anyone with a show and no visual artist. One visual is playing when the window opens, and the library has more, free. If you write shaders or p5, your own files run too, unchanged.
What it is not
Not a clip player: a video has decided what it will do before the night. Not a visualiser: a spectrum that reacts at random is not a show. Sialk Stage runs a visual and hands it the room's audio, with a mixer around it.
What that buys you
- The room reaches the picture. Loudness, bands, the beat, the tempo, in every visual, nothing to wire up.
- Controls you can play. Whatever a visual declares is a fader on the surface.
- Your files stay yours. A layer points at a folder on your disk; Sialk Stage copies nothing.
