Operatour and AI VJ

Visuals with nobody at the desk, two ways. AI VJ syncs a set of video files to the DJ software over Ableton Link and plays them without an operator. Operatour plays code that hears the room, and the library gives you the code. Both answer the same question, I have a projector and no VJ, and they answer it with different things on the wall.

What Operatour gives you that AI VJ does not

A picture that listens. A visual from the library, or a sketch of your own, reads the room's audio every frame: level, bass, mid, high, the beat, under names that never change. A video file has decided what it will do before the night starts.
Controls, not a playlist. Colour, speed, how hard it reacts, live, on a fader.
Layers, mixed by hand. Stack a shader under a p5 sketch, blend them, fade one out.
macOS. AI VJ is Windows only.
Free and non-commercial in a grid of three rows by three columns, and £199 once for no limits and the commercial licence (£99 at v1).

What AI VJ gives you that Operatour does not

Sync from the DJ software itself. AI VJ reads Rekordbox, Traktor, Serato and Virtual DJ over Ableton Link, so it knows the track and the tempo exactly. Operatour listens to the room and works the tempo out; Link arrives at v5.
Your own video files, automatically. If what you want on the wall is a clip per track, AI VJ does that and Operatour does not.
Windows, today. Operatour's Windows build is v3.
